Premises Liability
Ms. Moseley assists a variety of companies in investigating and responding to claims alleging personal injury from toxic exposures or other accidents while on the owner’s property. She is adept at counseling to avoid or reduce litigation risk. Additionally, she has an established track record of fully developing all available legal defenses as well as exploring various indemnity sources.
Products Liability
Ms. Moseley has extensive experience defending companies against products claims by establishing protocols for evaluating the claims. She is skilled in leading internal investigations to understand the product at issue and to identify potential witnesses and records. She also can tap into a network of expert witnesses and consultants to prepare the claims for resolution.
Toxic Torts
Ms. Moseley works regularly with in-house counsel, corporate management, and outside counsel to coordinate hundreds of on-going cases across the country involving exposures to toxic substances. She builds a team to develop an integrated discovery and trial strategy. This integrated approach has proven effective in striking the right balance between settling cases and trying them when necessary.
Melinda Moseley
Melinda L. Moseley practices and manages civil litigation across the country. For over 28 years, she has focused her practice in the areas of commercial, premises liability, products liability, and toxic tort litigation. She has deep experience managing litigation for Fortune 500 clients, including developing national defense strategies, local counsel networks, expert and corporate representative witnesses, and national settlement strategies. Ms. Moseley advises companies from investigation through trial, working collaboratively to resolve cases efficiently and successfully.
She graduated from Emory University School of Law, With Distinction, in 1991 and is a member of the Order of the Coif. At Emory, Ms. Moseley served as Editor-in-Chief of Emory Law Journal. She is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Moseley is an AV Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.
